2009 Annual Report
2009 was a challenging year for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and the health insurance industry as the debate over reform continued in a difficult economic environment. Horizon BCBSNJ has long been an advocate of health care reform to improve access and quality, and lower costs. Our focus is to find innovative ways to continue Making Healthcare Work for our 3.6 million members.
