Members with Hepatitis C are eligible to join the Hepatitis C Health Education Program, which connects them with professional care specialists who help coordinate their care, provide information, and offer personalized support.

Members enrolled in the program receive:

• Assistance from personal, professional care specialists who work directly with patients and provide individualized education and support. Patients who have additional chronic conditions are provided with one professional care specialist who provides complete education and support.
• The latest health information related to Hepatitis C and the treatments available.
• Support during the course of therapy, including tips for dealing with the side effects of treatments.
• Information about the medications prescribed.
• Access to a toll-free Hepatitis C support line, available Monday — Friday, 8:00 a.m. —
  7:00 p.m. (ET).
