Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey previously communicated that JFK Medical Center and Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center terminated their hospital contracts with us. We are pleased to announce that both JFK Medical Center and Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center have rescinded their termination notices with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. As a result, JFK Medical Center and Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center will remain in the Horizon BCBSNJ network of participating hospitals. Effective immediately, Horizon BCBSNJ members can access JFK Medical Center and Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center for routine and elective services on an in-network basis.

As always, in an emergency situation, members should go immediately to the nearest emergency facility, without worrying about network affiliations, to receive care.

Horizon BCBSNJ encourages all members to use network hospitals to maximize their benefits and minimize their out-of-pocket costs.
