Members and physicians may use this information when evaluating where to have a scheduledCABG or angioplasty performed.

Various independent sources were used to develop thisinformation. These sources used evidence-based criteria from MedPar data and national guidelines.

The participating hospitals in New Jersey that have beenrecognized as Horizon BCBSNJ’s 2005 Regional Programs of Quality for CABG and angioplasty procedures are:

• Jersey Shore University Medical Center
• Morristown Memorial Hospital
• Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital
• The HEART HOSPITAL of New Jersey at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center
