Perinatal Services
The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services designated several participating facilities as Regional Perinatal Centers. Each center is located within a general acute care hospital and is designated and licensed to provide care to high-risk mothers and newborns. Members and physicians may use this information when evaluating where to have perinatal services performed. The participating hospitals that achieved Regional Perinatal Centers designation and are recognized as Horizon BCBSNJ’s Regional Programs of Quality for perinatal services are: - Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center
