As many of us were ringing in 2009 with hopes of many pleasant surprises and good times, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Moreno’s wishes were being answered as they welcomed their first child – Edgar. 

At 12:00:01, one second past midnight, Mrs. Moreno gave birth, and Edgar Rafeal Moreno officially became New Jersey’s first baby born of 2009.  Edgar was not only a happy addition to the Moreno family, but also to the Horizon BCBSNJ family of more than 3.6 million members.

Edgar Rafael Moreno entered the world at a healthy 7 lbs., 4 oz.  The Moreno’s live in Caldwell, New Jersey.
