Horizon BCBSNJ employees will kick off the 2003-2004 United Way Corporate
Campaign starting October 27 and ending November 17, 2003. This company-wide
effort provides employees with an opportunity to make a weekly pledge or
increase their current contribution to the United Way. Eighty-seven percent
of all dollars collected are used to provide daycare for children and elderly
parents of working families, shelter for the homeless, and comfort and counsel
for abuse victims; temporary support to families caught in difficult times;
retrain unemployed workers to find new jobs; and so much more.
